It has been pointed out to me that this guide is quite a bit out of date. 356 prices are on the rise, good for the value of my C Coupe, not so good for my dream of owning a Convertible D. Unfortunately the magazines I used the create this guide haven't bothered to update their guides either, so I don't have a more current source. If you have a more accurate guide please feel free to send it to me. Also I have not found a decent source for 'pre - A' vehicles of rarer models.
